The Coffee & Magic Verdict

Harrington’s is one of the Main Street shops we can spend much longer in than planned.

It feels calmer and more grown-up, which suits the jewellery, glass and collectible side of Disney shopping.

Pandora is the obvious danger for us: we nearly always compare charms across several shops because stock can differ, and there is usually a shortlist by the end of the trip.

I also like shops where the merchandise feels like something you might keep for years rather than use for one holiday.

Even when we buy nothing, Harrington’s is worth going into simply because it feels so different from the big general stores outside.

Good to know

Harrington’s can be accessed from both Main Street and Discovery Arcade, which makes it easy to browse without heading back outside.

There is usually a good selection of pins and pin trading here, and one of the nicest features is being able to watch glass ornaments being made when the glassblower is working.

There is also a lot of fragile and fairly expensive merchandise within easy reach, so it is definitely somewhere to keep a closer eye on younger children.
