La Boutique du Château is one of the easiest places to justify buying something because Christmas decorations actually come back out every year.
We love souvenirs that become part of home life after the trip, so an ornament or decorative piece has far more appeal to us than another toy.
The fact that the shop sits inside the Castle makes the browse feel special even in the middle of summer.
We normally go in thinking we are just having a look, then start imagining where something will go at home - which is usually the point at which the shopping budget is in trouble.
