The Coffee & Magic Verdict
Merlin l’Enchanteur is a proper browsing shop. We are not walking in looking for a toy or a standard souvenir; we are looking at the glass, crystal and craftsmanship and wondering whether there is one piece special enough to take home.
That makes it much more interesting to us than a large generic store, even though plenty of the serious pieces are well beyond an impulse-buy budget. The Castle setting helps enormously.
We nearly always find ourselves stopping longer than expected because there is so much detail packed into such a small space.
