The Coffee & Magic Verdict
La Chaumière des Sept Nains is a shop we enjoy because the storytelling is stronger than the need to buy anything.
We are not really toy shoppers anymore, although character clothing, costumes and plush can still catch our daughter's eye.
The cottage setting gives the whole thing enough personality that we would wander through even if we were not looking for anything specific.
That is the difference for us between a generic small shop and a good one: if the space feels rooted in Fantasyland, we want to see it.
