October 2026 at a glance
From 19 to 30 October, both parks are scheduled to open from 9am until 10pm, with Extra Magic Time from 8am. On Halloween itself, 31 October, both parks stay open until 11pm.
Disneyland Paris opening hours for October 2026
Park hours vary slightly during the first half of October before becoming much simpler later in the month.
On 1 October, both parks are scheduled to open from 9:30am until 10pm.
On 2 October, opening hours are 9:30am until 9pm.
On 3 and 4 October, both parks open from 9am until 10pm.
From 5 to 18 October, weekday opening is generally 9:30am until 10pm, with weekends opening earlier at 9am and closing at 10pm.
Extra Magic Time normally begins one hour before the published park opening time for eligible guests.
Longer hours from 19 October
From 19 to 30 October, things become much easier to remember.
Both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World are scheduled to open:
9am to 10pm every day
Extra Magic Time runs from:
8am to 9am
That means eligible guests can potentially spend up to 14 hours in the parks.
For us, this is one of the biggest advantages of visiting Disneyland Paris during the October half-term period.
The parks will obviously be busier, but those longer opening hours give you considerably more time to spread things out rather than trying to fit everything into a shorter day.
Halloween opening hours
Halloween itself gets the longest opening hours of the month.
On 31 October 2026, both parks are scheduled to open from:
9am to 11pm
Extra Magic Time runs from:
8am to 9am
So if you are eligible for Extra Magic Time and stay until park close, that is potentially 15 hours inside Disneyland Paris.
Disneyland Paris has also confirmed a special Halloween programme on 31 October, including additional character encounters, treats and a special fireworks show.
It is also the one day of the year when guests of all ages are allowed to visit in costume, subject to Disneyland Paris's usual costume rules.
October attraction closures
There are a handful of planned closures during October, although most are relatively short.
The major exception is Crush’s Coaster, which remains closed for its long refurbishment until summer 2027.
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is closed from 5 to 16 October, reopening on 17 October.
Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups enters October already closed and is due to reopen on 3 October.
La Tanière du Dragon has a short closure from 5 to 9 October, reopening on 10 October.
Pirates’ Beach is closed for most of the month, from 1 to 23 October, reopening on 24 October.
Frontierland Playground is closed from 12 to 16 October, reopening on 17 October.
Pirate Galleon is also expected to remain unavailable during October, with no confirmed reopening date currently published.
Are the October closures bad?
Actually, we think October looks pretty good.
Crush’s Coaster is obviously a major loss, particularly because it is one of the most popular attractions at Disney Adventure World.
But away from Crush, most of the October closures are short.
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is back before half term, Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups is only unavailable for the first two days of the month, and both La Tanière du Dragon and Frontierland Playground have relatively short closures.
Pirates’ Beach is the longest Disneyland Park closure, but it is scheduled to return on 24 October.
So if you are visiting during the main October half-term period, the closure list is actually fairly manageable.
Our thoughts on visiting in October
October can be busy, particularly once the school holidays begin, but the opening hours make a big difference.
Having both parks open from 9am until 10pm from 19 October, plus Extra Magic Time from 8am for eligible guests, gives you a huge amount of usable park time.
Halloween also gives Disneyland Park a completely different atmosphere, especially once it gets dark.
The biggest thing we would plan around is Crush’s Coaster being unavailable. After that, check whether Buzz or any of the smaller closures overlap with your dates and adjust your priorities accordingly.
And remember that Disneyland Paris can change both opening hours and refurbishment dates.
