Disneyland Paris Halloween 2026: What’s Coming This Year

Disney Halloween Festival runs from 26 September to 1 November 2026.

The main Halloween celebrations, decorations and entertainment are centred on Disneyland Park, although you will find some seasonal touches elsewhere around the resort and Disney Hotels.

The Halloween entertainment in Disneyland Park is included with normal park admission. There is no separate Halloween event ticket required.

This is not simply a case of Disneyland Paris putting last year's pumpkins back out.

For 2026, Main Street, U.S.A. is getting around 40 new pumpkins, 170 new candles and Victorian-inspired garlands, alongside plenty of the familiar Halloween decorations around Disneyland Park.

Main Street station is also getting four new stained-glass designs featuring Disney Villains, while Town Square will have new Mickey and Minnie pumpkins and character-inspired candles.

There is new decoration stretching all the way from Main Street towards Sleeping Beauty Castle, so this should feel like a noticeable refresh rather than a few small additions.

Our thoughts: Disneyland Park already looks brilliant in autumn, so we are particularly interested to see how much difference all of the new Main Street detail makes.

One of the additions we are most interested in happens after the sun goes down.

Main Street, U.S.A. will have new nighttime projections, while banners along the street will reveal Disney Villain silhouettes in a shadow-puppet style.

There is also an original musical score created for the Halloween season.

It means Main Street should feel different again in the evening rather than the Halloween decorations simply becoming harder to see once it gets dark.

Our thoughts: This might quietly be one of the best additions for 2026. Disneyland Park on an autumn evening already has a lovely atmosphere, so giving Main Street its own nighttime Halloween treatment makes a lot of sense.

Mickey’s Halloween Celebration is back for 2026.

The Halloween cavalcade features four floats travelling along Parade Road, with Daisy opening the procession and appearances from Disney Characters including Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar.

The finale features Mickey aboard Mickey’s Manor of Illusions, complete with the rapid costume changes that have become one of the highlights of the Halloween cavalcade.

Expect pumpkins, hay bales, lanterns, music and considerably more orange than you normally see on Parade Road.

There are some completely new character costumes for 2026.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy will appear in matching Victorian-inspired Halloween outfits.

Mickey becomes a mystical count, Minnie a witch, Donald a vampire and Daisy a bat lady.

Goofy is also among the Mischief Makers appearing during the festival in seasonal dress.

If character meets are important to you, check the Disneyland Paris app during your visit for current locations and times.

The M&M’S Mystery Doors hunt gives you something else to look out for while exploring Disneyland Park.

Pick up a map and search for the Mysterious Doors hidden around Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Discoveryland, Adventureland and Fantasyland.

Solve the colourful clues and you can then head to Boardwalk Candy Palace to collect a treat.

We really like additions like this. You do not have to reorganise your entire day around it, but it gives children something else to look for as you make your way around the park.

Dr Facilier is back.

The Shadow Man from The Princess and the Frog returns to Frontierland for the Halloween season.

It is a character and location combination that makes complete sense and gives you another Disney Villain to look out for alongside the likes of Maleficent, Cruella, Jafar and the Queen of Hearts.

Character appearances can change, so check the Disneyland Paris app on the day for the latest information.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon once again becomes the Unlucky Nugget Saloon for Halloween.

The temporary overlay is inspired by nearby Phantom Manor and the wedding reception that was supposedly intended for Melanie Ravenswood before things went rather wrong.

The ground floor combines Halloween decoration, music, lighting and special effects, but there is a significant addition for 2026.

The experience is expanding upstairs, with new decorations and artwork inspired by the portraits found inside Phantom Manor.

There will also be a reworked Halloween menu.

Our thoughts: This is exactly the sort of seasonal overlay we like. It feels connected to Frontierland and Phantom Manor rather than simply putting a few pumpkins inside a restaurant.

Jack Skellington and Sally return for Disney Halloween Festival.

The Pumpkin King and Sally will once again be available for a character encounter during the season.

And yes.

It uses a Virtual Queue. Reservation required.

Yay. Our favourite.

If meeting Jack and Sally matters to you, make sure you have the Disneyland Paris app installed, your tickets linked and everything ready before you arrive.

Do not wait until you are standing in Frontierland to work out how the virtual queue works.

If you are visiting on 31 October, Disneyland Paris is doing more than on a normal day during the Halloween season.

Disneyland Park will have a special programme running until 11pm, including exclusive character encounters, M&M’S treat distribution and a special fireworks show.

It is also the one opportunity of the year when guests of all ages are allowed to visit Disneyland Paris in costume, subject to Disneyland Paris's usual costume rules.

Unsurprisingly, Halloween itself is likely to be an extremely popular date, so we would plan differently from a normal autumn weekday.

For us, Halloween is one of the nicest times of year to visit Disneyland Park.

It is not a separate hard-ticket Halloween party. The decorations, cavalcade, characters and seasonal entertainment become part of your normal day in Disneyland Park.

And 2026 looks stronger than simply repeating the previous season.

The new Main Street decorations and nighttime treatment are probably what we are most interested in seeing, while Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, Dr Facilier, Jack and Sally and the Unlucky Nugget give the season plenty of returning favourites.

It should also remain very Disney in tone. There are Villains, ghosts and plenty of spooky details, but this is much more playful Halloween than full-on horror, making it suitable for families and younger children too.

Disney Halloween Festival finishes on 1 November 2026.

Disney Enchanted Christmas begins on 7 November 2026, leaving a short gap between the two main seasonal celebrations.
