Flight Force is absolutely worth your time. Do not make it an Extra Magic Time priority though. Keep an eye on the wait and go when it drops during the day.
The ride itself is properly intense
Flight Force starts with a rapid launch and does not hang around.
The coaster is fast, includes inversions and spends most of its time in the dark.
This is not a gentle family attraction.
It is one of the more intense rides at Disneyland Paris and, although the track layout itself is not particularly long, it feels quick and relentless once you are moving.
That is a big part of why we love it.
Is it suitable for younger children?
This is where we would be a little cautious.
Our children tried Flight Force when they were six and seven and cried afterwards.
By the time they reached eight, they loved it and wanted to ride it repeatedly.
Every child is different, but meeting the height requirement does not necessarily mean they are going to enjoy it.
It is fast, dark and goes upside down.
If your child is nervous around launches, inversions or rides where they cannot see what is coming next, we would not use the height restriction alone as the deciding factor.
When should you ride Flight Force?
This is one attraction where we would usually not make it an Extra Magic Time priority.
Flight Force often shows waits of around 15 to 25 minutes during the day.
In our experience, we would usually allow roughly another ten minutes on top of the displayed time, but even then it often represents very good value compared with some of the bigger attractions elsewhere in the resort.
Our approach is simple: keep an eye on the queue and go when it drops to around 15 minutes.
There is usually no need to rush straight there first thing in the morning.

Single Rider can be brilliant here
Flight Force is also one of the attractions where Single Rider can work really well.
We have seen it showing around five minutes plenty of times.
Just do not assume five minutes on the board means you will definitely be riding in five minutes.
Single Rider only moves when Disney needs individual guests to fill empty seats, so your wait depends entirely on the groups arriving ahead of you.
If most groups fit neatly into the ride vehicles, the queue can barely move.
When the numbers fall your way, though, it can be one of the quickest ways to get another ride in.
The one thing we do not love: the restraints
Our biggest criticism of Flight Force is the over-the-shoulder restraint system.
It can become uncomfortable if you ride several times over the course of a trip.
We have genuinely finished Disney trips with sore or bruised shoulders after repeatedly riding Flight Force.
For us, the restraints on Hyperspace Mountain feel noticeably more comfortable.
Would that stop us riding Flight Force?
Absolutely not.
So, is Flight Force worth your time?
Very much so.
We probably ride Flight Force at least once every day we are at Disneyland Paris, and often more than once.
It is one of our favourite attractions in the resort.
Would we queue 45 minutes for it?
Actually, yes.
The more important point is that you will rarely need to.
Keep an eye on the wait time, take advantage when it drops and use Single Rider if you are happy to split your group.
Our verdict: Flight Force is absolutely worth your time. Just do not waste your morning rushing there when a much shorter queue will probably appear later in the day.
