Brilliantly themed if you love Indiana Jones, but probably one of the shops we are least likely to make a special trip to.
Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost is designed like an old expedition base, and the theming is really good. The wood, bamboo, crates and explorer details all fit this quieter part of Adventureland really well, and as a themed space it absolutely does what it is supposed to do.
The problem for us is simply that we are not massive Indiana Jones fans. We do not spend a huge amount of time around the Indiana Jones ride anyway, and the merchandise here is very specifically aimed at that explorer and adventure look.
You will find things like jungle-style shirts, Indiana Jones hats and other explorer-themed clothing and accessories, alongside toys, plush and smaller souvenirs. It is quite different from somewhere like Le Coffre du Capitaine, where the pirate merchandise still feels very Disney to us. Indiana Jones merchandise just does not have quite the same appeal when we are at Disneyland Paris.
That obviously comes down to personal taste. If you are a big Indiana Jones fan, this is exactly the sort of dedicated merchandise shop you will probably want to seek out. For us, though, we are unlikely to come to Disneyland Paris and decide that what we really want to take home is an explorer shirt or an Indiana Jones-style hat.
We also tend to find the shop very quiet, although that is true of this whole corner of Adventureland. That does at least mean you can have a relaxed look around without fighting through crowds, and the theming makes it worth popping your head in if you are passing.
